First Days Colour Run at Prospect Park

First Days Colour Run at Prospect Park

Sunday 12 May 2024 | 2pm start

First Days Children's Charity give choice, restore dignity and empower families who are living with a low income or are experiencing financial hardship. They believe that all children should be safe in their home, and out and about; they should be confident in school; and they should have lots of fun.

Part of their fundraising sees the return of their annual Colour Run at Prospect Park. Now in it's 3rd year, it's a fantastic family event where you go home a completely different colour to the one you arrived!

  • A 2.5km lap which you can walk, run, skip once or twice.
  • Four paint stations on each lap

Exploring Reading's heritage while you walk

We've gathered some arts/culture/heritage walks together so you can be inspired to discover new things while out for your daily exercise. The hidden histories. The "oh, so THAT's what that is". Easy routes that take in a dozen landmarks. Trickier routes that give you a great reward at the end. And tips on how to create your own walking tours.
