We'll gather up all the open audition info we can from local theatres and other performing troupes in Reading and share them on this page. And maybe you'll get your shot in the spotlight!

Do you want to perform but are unable to commit to a full show?

Then we have a great opportunity for you. On Saturday 16th May Shinfield Players Theatre are presenting Girls Going Solo – an evening of female monologues.

Act 1 will be The Regina Monologues which SPT have entered into the Maidenhead Drama Festival and is already in rehearsal.

In Act 2 we will have some other short monologues of between three and ten minutes long. We have some great scripts including Shirley Valentine and Victoria Wood and you will not be required to attend too many rehearsals. Also line learning is much easier when you only have your own words to worry about.
