Shôn’s 83-year old mother is waiting for some test results from the hospital. Shôn goes back home to the Isle of Anglesey to visit her. To relieve some pressure, she asks him to crack an egg on her head. All hell is let loose. Internet trolls appear in real life demanding Shôn stops abusing his mother and gets off the island…
This story about love and hatred celebrates how searching for connection beats disconnecting. CRACKING is a heart-warming and uplifting comic story about loving in the face of hatred.

Theatre Club is an informal setting where fans of theatre can chat about what they've just watched at South Street, enjoy a drink from our bar and sometimes get to meet the creative talent behind the show and ask questions. You don't need to officially join, simply book a ticket to the show and meet us in the bar afterwards!
This time, Theatre Club will kick off with a post-show Q&A with the maker of Cracking, Shôn Dale-Jones! You'll have a chance to hear more about the inspirations behind the show and ask your questions over a drink from the bar, then Shôn will leave you to continue the conversation in the relaxed setting of Theatre Club.
