Planet Protectors at the Reading Town Meal

Part of Reading Climate Festival

Interactive trail for children aged 5-10 and their families

Are you ready to help Pip and Pearl save the planet? They need recruits to join their team of Planet Protectors, so come and help!

This interactive trail, developed by Reading Fringe with writer and director Helen Eastman, engages families with joyful ways they can look after the planet (with plenty of laughter and an occasional song).

During lockdown the team created an online adventure – part theatre, part escape room – but now they are returning to work on a live version. They’ll be trialling it on 25th September as part of the Reading Climate Festival so come down to Forbury Gardens, take part and give us your feedback.

Children will have challenges to undertake, puzzles to solve and tasks to complete, to graduate as fully trained planet protectors!
