Reading Town Meal 2021

The biggest "picnic in the park" that Reading has ever seen will return to Forbury Gardens on Saturday 25th September (Covid permitting) and you are invited to this fantastic celebration of local sustainable food. It's one of the events that makes Reading a special place.

The date is fixed and planning is on track so now we need your help to make it all happen! We are looking for keen growers to Pledge your Veg and help us assemble all the ingredients for the meal, as well as lots of you to sign up to be Town Meal Makers and help out with the event planning and on the day itself. We're also looking for community groups to have stalls and run activities.
