Live Forever: Welcome to the Underworld is a LATE event at the Ure Museum that will join Being Human Festival's celebrations accross the UK.
The Ure Museum and the Department of Classics at the University of Reading will be sharing their research focused on the underworld in antiquity, offering an immersive experience for everyone.
Come and descend into the Field of Reeds, the ancient Egyptian vision of the underworld: have your heart weighed in Maat's scales, play senet and meet Anubis and Osiris.
You can also visit the ancient Greek Elysium and interact with the gods, goddesses, fallen warriors and heroines that populated this version of the paradise.
The Ure Museum will remain open until 10pm and handling sessions, arts and crafts activities, and new trails will be offered for children and adults alike.
