In love with cheese, wine and all things Spanish? This is THE event for you! Join us and the team from Los OrigenES, a renowned Deli from Spain, and discover how deliciously Spanish cheese pairs with Stanlake Park's English wines.
About the English Wine & Spanish Cheese Tasting
This is a very special event, and probably the first of a series, where we'll be joined by Jesus, owner of Los OrigenES, a small deli that directly imports truly unique Spanish foods from small producers. None of the cheeses you will try are available in the supermarkets, and Jesus will be at the event to explain everything about how these cheeses are made, and why they taste so incredibly good.
The event will be held at our charming and recently renovated Tasting Shed, and will start with a refreshing glass of sparkling wine. During your tasting, you will enjoy another four samples of our very best wines, paired with a total of five Spanish cheese, crackers and chutney.
The wine tasting side of the event will be introduced by one of our wine experts, who will tell you some interesting facts about English - but without all the snobbery!
You will also have the chance to purchase cheese directly from Los OrigenES at the end of the event.
You are most welcome to stay after your tasting and enjoy an extra drink and more nibbles in our Wine Bar (we close at 8 pm on Fridays).
Our wine samples are generous - you may wish to book a taxi home!
