HexiCon 2 (a two sided affair)

The one-day board game convention returns

Sat 30 Mar, 11:00-22:00

AmassGames - Reading's renowned reviewer and demonstrator of board games - presents HexiCon 2, the second one-day board game convention for Reading.

There's unlikely to be Monopoly, Scrabble nor Trivial Pursuit. But you can expect award-winning modern classics - potentially Carcassonne, Ticket to Ride, Catan, Pandemic and more.

Simon will be bringing some of his favourite new games to teach and play. And you can bring your own too. Expect a "bring and buy", auction, and a charity table for spares.

There will be an on site café, hot pies, pasties, pancakes etc and drinks.

Free on-site parking for first 21-23 cars and then next to the venue (also free parking). The venue is 200 metres from The Chilterns if you fancied a walk. 24/7 bus route too, disability parking, access and loos.

About AmassGames

AmassGames is a hub for everything tabletop (~2,300 reviews). Discover solo and multiplayer demonstrations, playthroughs, reviews, unboxing ("coming soon to review") board games plus expansions, mini expansions, promos, board game novels, monthly Top 50 most played BGG games, Best of the month, Top 250 of all time, interviews, conversations, events and giveaways.

Reviews were typed in the past, but many people were requesting videos and after four years of saying 'no' to YouTube I caved (when I received 60 games from publishers in a day). I'm on BGG as AmassGames. I consult for 225+ companies and I arrange/attend about 365 board game open gaming sessions a year.
