Reading Male Voice Choir Young Singers Gala Concert

Reading Male Voice Choir is particularly proud of its links with and support for the local community, particularly with young singers. To enhance this further, the choir launched The Gwyn Arch Young Singers’ Competition, to identify, encourage and promote young singers. This was open to young singers, divided into three age groups between the ages of 11-21 years.

The winners of each category have now been named, and will join the choir for a special concert at The Abbey School:

17-21 age group - Lucy John

14-16 age group - Pippa Dover

10-13 age group - Marc Rodrigues and Eva Walker

Will also feature some other local musicians.

Proceeds from this concert will go to Royal Berks Charity's 30th Anniversary £300,000 equipment appeal, especially to raise funds for children's wards at Royal Berkshire Hospital.
