The next events in Reading Libraries Telling Stories programme are:
Saturday 22nd April, 1.30 – 2.30pm. Children’s library, Reading Central
A reading of the picture book ‘Alina Saves The Moon’ with local author Mary Chambers, followed by a simple craft activity. Alina saves the moon is a story about two children who live in Newtown, Reading, close beside the last gas tower. FREE and suitable for all ages.
Saturday 13th May, 11.00 – 12.00. Children’s library, Reading Central
Meet the Author Imani Ulaini, who will be presenting African Stories and an opportunity to do some crafting. Stories include ‘Uncle Big Bowl’ and ‘Auntie Vex Up’. FREE and suitable for all ages.
Saturday 10th June, 11.00 – 12.00. Children’s library, Reading Central
‘Reading With Royalty’, a storytelling session with Elizabeth 1, followed by a right royal crafting session! FREE and suitable for all ages.
