Mixed Media Workshop

In this workshop led by artist Caroline Streatfield you will create a mixed media artwork inspired by the plants in Cherry Tulip shop. This could be a handmade gift for a loved one. Materials to explore will be acrylic paint, water colour pencils, collage. At the end of the session, you will take home a painting and the plant that inspired your artwork. All materials provided including a frame for your artwork.

Caroline Streatfield is the artist-in- residence at Cherry Tulip flower shop based at Reading Biscuit Factory. Caroline has taught for over 20 years in the community and in 2019 graduated with a MA in Painting from University of the Arts, London. In 2020 her work was selected for the John Moore’s painting prize and in 2021 she received arts council funding for her project ‘People of Oxford Rd’.
