Join the award winning Wantage Silver Band for a family friendly afternoon of outstanding music in aid of Parents and Children Together (PACT) on Sunday 14th July. Whether you are already a lover of silver band music or it's your family's first concert there will be something for everyone to enjoy in the stunning surroundings of Reading Minster.
At this relaxed family concert you will be treated to highlights from the bands repertoire plus given an insight into how a silver band works.
Sunday 14th July
Doors open at 3pm where refreshments will be available. The concert starts at 3.30pm and finishes at about 4.45pm.
All proceeds from the concert will go to local charity Parents and Children Together (PACT). PACT is an adoption charity and family support provider helping hundreds of families every year through outstanding adoption and adoption support services and community projects across London and the south of England.
Established in 1911, PACT is now one of the UK’s leading charities in its field and is dedicated to the placement of children with secure and loving families, continued support through therapeutic services, supporting and empowering women facing multiple disadvantages and the recovery of children affected by domestic abuse.
