Introduction to Touchdesigner with Tamás Éliás (HU)
TouchDesigner is a software product from Derivative (Toronto and Los Angeles) that is used to build interactive 3D and 2D applications. It is "procedural", "node-based", real-time, and is considered a visual programming language. It is designed to give its users enormous flexibility in building applications without needing to program in a conventional way.
TouchDesigner is an incredible tool for artists, VJs, and creative individuals to produce high-quality animations, visuals, applications, installations, and more.
Despite its capabilities, TouchDesigner can be intimidating for newcomers or those interested in developing with it. This workshop is designed for anyone eager to learn new ways to create quality digital works. While primarily aimed at new users, experienced users can also pick up new tips and techniques. If you’re unfamiliar with TouchDesigner or have never heard of it but are interested, you’re welcome to join as we start from the very basics.
