Elena Urioste and Tom Poster both enjoy busy international careers as soloists and chamber musicians, appearing in concerto performances with the world's great orchestras, as co-founders of Kaleidoscope Chamber Collective, and as a highly successful duo. Their most recent duo album on Chandos Records, From Brighton to Brooklyn, was described as "one of the finest recitals of violin miniatures since Itzhak Perlman's 1970s heyday". Their wide-ranging programme in Reading takes us on a journey from the lyricism of Mozart to the glorious romanticism of Le Beau and Strauss, via cosy miniatures by Fritz Kreisler and a selection of Tom's popular arrangements from #UriPosteJukeBox, which won Elena and Tom the Royal Philharmonic Society's Inspiration Award.
