Edible Reading Walkabout & Cream Tea

with guide Terry Dixon

Terry will take us on a food-themed jaunt through Reading covering over 200 years to the present day. Featuring famous and not so famous people, products and manufacturers, WW2 ‘Dig for Victory’ initiatives, unique restaurants and cafes, plus fascinating little-known facts about Reading. On the way, the walk will be illustrated with photos and maps.

We will be visiting some familiar places sure to make you hungry and thirsty by the end and so we will finish with a cream tea in The Centre for Heritage and Family History, the former site of another famous Reading food product. Cream tea included within the price.

10am - 12noon
