Casual Technicians – Reading Arts

Reading Arts is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Casual Technicians to join the Technical Team, supporting a wide variety of performances and events across Reading Arts venues - these will include The Hexagon, South Street Arts Centre and Reading Concert Hall.

As a Casual Technician, you will assist with the preparation, operation and dismantling of productions and events, helping to ensure performances run smoothly and safely.

This is a casual role, with shifts offered as required to support the programme of events. Working hours may include evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and long and varied shifts depending on event requirements

£13.45 Per hour

Ballet Teacher Wanted - Reading School of Dance

We’re looking for a passionate ballet teacher to join our team of dedicated dance educators. You’ll be working with a group of talented, driven students who are aiming for full-time dance college and beyond.

Freelance drama teachers - StageAbility Reading

ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A FUN, INCLUSIVE AND SUPPORTIVE DRAMA SCHOOL TO WORK WITH? PERHAPS YOU’RE NEW TO THE AREA?

I am looking for inspiring freelance drama teachers to join our committed team at StageAbility to deliver our drama clubs to primary schools in and around the Reading and Wokingham area.

At StageAbility, we believe that every child can benefit from a drama class, particularly the most shy! Our classes focus on developing confidence and self-esteem first and foremost, so much of our class is based around fun games and drama activities.

Requirements of the role:

Experience in teaching drama to children aged 4-11.
Enhanced DBS certificate. (StageAbility can process this for right candidate.)
First Aid certification is preferred
Safeguarding certificate
Available some weekdays from 3pm
Registered self-employed

£30 for the first hour, £20 per hour thereafter
