Place Partnership Project Lead - Reading Rep Theatre
Reading Rep Theatre is looking for a freelance Project Lead to help set up and begin delivery of the Berkshire Cultural Skills Hub, our Arts Council England Place Partnership.
Although contracted by Reading Rep Theatre as grant holder, the role is explicitly partnership-facing and will work across the agreed governance structures of the Berkshire Cultural Skills Hub. The programme aims to build a joined-up pathway from early cultural engagement into paid work in the creative and screen industries, with a particular focus on underrepresented young people aged 14–24.
We are looking for someone who is collaborative, relationship-led and confident working across multiple organisations. This role is about getting the partnership working well, supporting co-design, setting up clear systems and ensuring the firstphase of delivery is ready to progress.
£225 per day
9-month freelance contract | Equivalent of 1.5 days per week, with working patterns to be agreed in line with programme and partnership needs
We will operate a rolling recruitment basis with the role closing 31st August.
Creative Health Lead - RBC, West Berkshire Council & Wokingham Council
Are you passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of our communities through innovative and creative approaches? West Berkshire Council is seeking a highly motivated and experienced to work on behalf on three local authorities across Berkshire West (Reading, West Berkshire and Wokingham) as the Creative Health Lead.
As the Creative Health Lead, you will play a pivotal role in developing and embedding Creative Health across the Berkshire West health and care system. Working across organisational and sector boundaries, you will lead a coordinated approach that integrates arts, culture and creative practice into health improvement, prevention, neighbourhood health and care pathways.
- Fixed term - 2 years from start date (Funding limited project)
- Full Time (37 hrs pw)
- £45,091 to £53,460 (Grade K)

I am looking for inspiring freelance drama teachers to join our committed team at StageAbility to deliver our drama clubs to primary schools in and around the Reading and Wokingham area.
At StageAbility, we believe that every child can benefit from a drama class, particularly the most shy! Our classes focus on developing confidence and self-esteem first and foremost, so much of our class is based around fun games and drama activities.
Requirements of the role:

Experience in teaching drama to children aged 4-11.

Enhanced DBS certificate. (StageAbility can process this for right candidate.)

First Aid certification is preferred

Safeguarding certificate

Available some weekdays from 3pm

Registered self-employed
£30 for the first hour, £20 per hour thereafter
