BBC Introducing Live ft. MUNBOI, Ray Wills & swurli
BBC INTRODUCING & RUSU EVENTS are teaming up to bring live music to your students' union!
Head down to Mojos on Friday 13th January for some sweet live music!

Alex West and Nicky Booty from BBC Introducing Berkshire highlight upcoming local artists, giving you the chance to see the hottest new music in Berkshire, at your students union!
Opening the night are PC pop newcomers swurli. Taking inspiration from SOPHIE, Rosalia, and Dorian Electra, they detail their creative process as "pursuing an idea to excruciating detail beyond reason - 189 hours 37 minutes is the goal of time spent on a project file - but ultimately we just want people to dance."
Next up, Ray Wills, an enigmatic bundle of charisma who takes influence from the likes of Kendrick Lamar and A$AP Rocky in his off-piste rap, while equally revering Jeff Buckley, Matt Corby, and Radiohead, who feed into his alternative style.
Finally, BBC Radio Berkshire's Artist in Residence for January 2023, Bracknell's Brandon James aka alt-pop artist Munboi, takes to the stage. Munboi is a rapper turned producer turned singer-songwriter who used to freestyle bars in turn with his mates, until one day: "we ran out of YouTube beats, and I had to learn to produce!" Nowadays, his music defies genres to incorporate indie rock, pop, and jazz influences. His latest album Eudaimonia has racked up nearly 600k streams on Spotify alone.
