Splendid Sparrows

Weekly Wednesdays drop off at 9:30, pick up at 12:30

At Splendid Sparrows, we have carved out a space for children and young people with a Christian faith who are educated at home. We recognise that it can be tricky to find safe environments for kids to independently explore nature and learn about creation with friends and the support of a team who understand their families’ faith and values. Led by Kathryn Clark, our Founding Director, this weekly group offers a unique opportunity to join a private thriving outdoor education community.

Children and young people aged 4-16 are welcome to join us from 9.30-12.30 every Wednesday during term time. We ask you to commit to the whole twelve-week term. We hope to start this group in October. To express your interest or find out more, please contact us.

Our learning together follows two brilliant and beautiful season-based Home Education Resources; the Exploring Nature  with Children Curriculum and Raising up Wild Things (we hold classroom licenses for these).

Along with these resources, our learning is led by the seasonal changes in the woods around us.
