About us

Formed in 2017, the Whiteknights Ensemble is a chamber group comprising musicians from a number of local orchestras. While the original members made up a wind quintet the ensemble has grown to enable a greater variety of repertoire!

The ensemble is based in Reading, and takes its name from Whiteknights Park, the manorial land of the De Erleigh family, now the campus of the University of Reading.

All of our concerts raise money for local charities and we have, to date, raised over £5500.
