Design and Handcraft Ceramic Tableware

Learn to ceramic plates, bowls and cups using basic handbuilding skills in my scenic countryside location near Reading.
My workshops are fun and easy going combined with indepth learning of ceramic hand building techniques. You will independtently be able to make objects with basic but important techniques like coiling, slab work, pinching by the end of this 2 day course.
In this full day of learning, we will go through basics of hand building in pottery.
- Design components of a tableware on paper and start making the products.
- Finish incomplete products.
- Explore and design surface decorations like slip decoration/painting, Sgrafitto etc.
What to expect:
This pottery course is for 2 full days of the weekend of 21-22nd of Sept 2024.
Timings: 10.00 am to 3.30 pm
The workshop includes:
- Teaching hours.
- Materials and tools will be provided.
- 2 firings are included free of cost in this workshop.
