About the Wines of Argentina Tasting
Join Argentinian wine expert Natalia in this fascinating exploration of the wines of Argentina. Explore the Andes mountain ranges, where grapes are grown at 3,000 metres above sea level, and understand how this desert-like region is able to produce some of the most exciting wines on earth. Go back to the 16th century to imagine how, and why, European grape growers moved to Argentina, how their varieties evolved into something different and native Latino American grapes were born. Understand why Malbec boomed in the 2000s, how it's changing now, and what other fascinating grapes are grown in Argentina - some of them you've never heard of, and we know you'll love.
This is a unique opportunity to really learn about Argentinian wine, as your very knowledgeable host will give you in-house insights about history, geography, politics, producers, wine "celebrities" and, of course, wine. All with her usual fun and entertaining style.
