What's On Events About us

About us

We are one of over 200 local branches of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), and with over 850 members, locally we are one of the largest in the Region.

We run a wide range of events throughout the year highlighting the wonderful selection of pubs, breweries, and cider and perry makers we are lucky to have in the region.

One of our most popular events is the Reading and Mid-Berks Ale trail which runs every spring to encourage members and non-members to visit up to 25 different pubs over a few months and to collect stickers, it's the best adult sticker book around! We also did two heritage bus trips this and last year to help ale trailers to get to harder to reach pubs which were great fun!

This last year we also ran an International Women's Day (IWD) Panel talk which discussed the experiences that 3 local beer industry women have experienced; a write up of this is in the June edition of Pubs and Pints magazine.

We also publish a magazine in collaboration with West Berkshire, Berkshire South East, and Slough, Windsor & Maidenhead CAMRA branches which can be found in all good Berkshire pubs or on our website.

Our social events are open to all, however, if you are a CAMRA member don't forget to check out the website to see the next branch meeting.
