Stand Up Comedy is coming to Burghfield. Mates Rates Comedy is proud to present Comedy at The 6 Bells with headliner Luke Chiltern.

Mates Rates Comedy has teamed up with The 6 Bells to bring you the best acts from the UK comedy scene.

We will have TV names, up and coming circuit comics and as always, you will be guided along by our trusty MC Carl Richard.

The show takes place in a heated marquee at The Six Bells, Burghfield on Saturday 14 October between 7:30pm-9:30pm (doors open 7:00pm).

Luke Chilton

Luke Chilton regularly performs at top comedy venues across the UK. He has provided tour support for Bobby Mair, reached the final 10 of BBC New Comedy Award 2019, nominated for Up the Creek: One to Watch 2019 and a NATYS Finalist 2022.

He is cohost of the Habibi and Ivory podcast alongside fellow comedian Omar Badawy. He has also performed multiple stand up shows in Spanish as part of Comedy Por Favor.

His stand up has appeared on radio multiple times and you can find him every Wednesday at Vauxhall Comedy Club where he serves as the resident MC.

 

Matt Rouse

With his engaging comic style and captivating stage presence, Matt Rouse is a new name making big moves in stand up.

Already winner of the respected Hastings Fringe New Act Competition and nominated for the BBC New Comedy Awards, the rising star has become known for his fresh viewpoint and cleverly packaged strong material.

In 2023, Matt performed stand-up on the BAFTA-winning The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan (C4).

His mix of infectious charm and sharp wit is fast securing his position as a major new talent to watch.

 

Blank Peng

Meet Blank Peng, the bilingual stand-up sensation who’s taking the comedy scene by storm. Originally performing in Mandarin, Blank ventured into English stand-up upon her arrival in the UK.

In just one remarkable year, Blank Peng has achieved a string of accolades. She made history as the first female winner of the prestigious Top Secret Comedy Gong and also triumphed as the King Gong and Rising Star New Act Competition champion in 2022. Additionally, she secured a finalist spot in the Leicester New Comedian of the Year competition, emerged as the West End New Act Runner-up, and reached the semi-finals of the Komedia Comedy Awards.
