WASMA (Wokingham Area School Music Association) will return to The Hexagon on Sunday 10 March and Sunday 24 March 2024 for ‘Lights, Camera, Action!’, a show that celebrates songs from the silver screen. As usual, the WASMA performances will focus on the fun of singing together in a large choir, but will also feature drama, poetry and dance. The two productions will provide an opportunity for a total of 760 children from 28 Wokingham primary schools to experience performing in a professional theatre – something that the children will remember for many years to come. WASMA, now in its 77th year, has grown from a handful of schools in Wokingham Town to an organisation providing opportunities for primary schools across the whole of Wokingham Borough.
