Junk Samba Band

with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra

Join musicians and RESOUND project leaders from Reading Arts' Resident Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for a JUNK SAMBA BAND workshop The Concert Hall, alongside Luke Jerram's GAIA installation and make some noise to celebrate our amazing earth.

Please bring something to bang, shake, scrape or hit together!

This can be created in one of the preceding JUNK INSTRUMENT MAKING WORKSHOPS or something you have made at home. (We will not be providing instruments.)

Suitable for Families. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times throughout the session.

At the end of this workshop, you could take your instrument and join the READING CLIMATE FESTIVAL PARADE through Reading, leaving from The Market Place at 3.30pm. (see below)
