One-place studies are a blend of family history and local history, with a focus on the entire population of a single road, village or community, not just a single, geographically dispersed family line.
Such studies are frequently undertaken by family historians wanting to create a context for their ancestors.
This talk by Gill Thomas will tell us how to use genealogical and other resources to create a One-Place Study and how this can inform family history research.
This meeting will be held on Zoom. Click here to book. Pre-booking is required, because the meeting link will be emailed in advance. Booking ends one day before the event. All are welcome, non-members £5 per person.
