Berkshire Family History Society - Reading Branch

Berkshire Family History Society - Reading Branch

We are one of six branches of Berkshire Family History Society that cover the county of Berkshire. The society is a registered charity that works to meet the needs of those researching their ancestry across the UK and overseas - as well as those looking for former relatives in historic Berkshire.

We meet in January-June (except April when we have a society wide meeting) and September-December (except October when there is another society wide meeting), usually on the last Thursday of the month. Decembers meeting is usually brought forward in the month to avoid Christmas.

Some of our meetings are at the advertised venue and some are on Zoom. If they are on Zoom a link will be provided to book a place.

Our meetings are open for anyone to attend who has an interest in family, local and social history. Our society members are granted free access and we request a £5 donation form any non-members.

Membership of our society has many benefits in addition to free access to our branch meetings, including discounts on society products and non-branch events.

This talk is organised by Berkshire Family History Society CIO, a registered charity number 1204390.
