Looking for the perfect way to spend your Wednesday evenings? This brilliant 9-week course takes you from complete beginner to confident sewist, one skill at a time.
You'll start with the essentials — threading your machine, winding bobbins, setting tension, choosing needles, and understanding grain line — building genuine confidence from your very first session. From there, you'll progress through core garment-making skills including a range of seam types, zip insertions, pleats, and pockets. The course finishes with a project of your own choice, guided from pattern to finished piece.
Perfect if you're a beginner wanting proper foundations, or dream of making your own clothes, homeware, or gifts.
What to bring: sewing machine, extension lead, thread, fabric scissors (pattern and fabric needed once you reach your project).
