Hyeyoon Park then takes centre stage for Brahms' magnificent Violin Concerto, one of the repertoire's most beloved and technically demanding masterpieces. The evening concludes with Mendelssohn's evocative Symphony No. 3 "Scottish", a richly atmospheric work inspired by the composer's travels through Scotland, combining sweeping lyricism, dramatic contrasts and a triumphant finale.
