The 56th season of the HSO continues with a flourish at Reading Concert Hall with a highly dramatic programme inspired by three great nationalistic composers writing at the height of their powers. Spanning the early 19th century to the 1950s, the programme reflects the development of Western classical music from the early Romantic era through to the Modernist and post-romantic period.
