- The Hexagon is a multi-purpose entertainment venue in the heart of Reading, hosting an eclectic mix of entertainers from big name Comedians, Spectacular Musicals, Children's Shows, Classical Concerts, Opera, Pantomime, Theatre, Dance and everything in between.
- Built in 1977 by Robert Matthew Johnson Marshall (RMJM) in the Brutalist style of modernist architecture, the venue's capacity varies from 1,200 to 1,686 depending on the programme.

We at The Hexagon are committed to making our building accessible and welcoming for all.
Disabled Access
Disabled Access
- A disabled patron's Personal Assistant is admitted free to all venues.
- To enhance your safety and comfort we require patrons in wheelchairs to book a designated wheelchair space, which can only be booked over the phone or in person at the Box Office. Please note that the spaces are designed for standard size wheelchairs, if you have a larger size wheelchair please advise when booking.
- There are limited parking spaces available to blue badge holders at the front of the building on the lower level next to the Stage Door, these are available on a first come first served basis.
- A lift is available between the upper and lower foyers, please note however that Balcony seating can only be accessed via the stairs. Patrons with limited mobility are advised to book seats in the Arena or Stalls on the lower level.
- Please inform the Box Office when booking if you require level access or have limited mobility as seats are available for this purpose. We also have a wheelchair available for use on site.
- Our disabled toilet is located in the Lower Foyer opposite the Stalls Bar.

Assistance/Guide Dogs
Assistance/Guide Dogs
We welcome assistance and guide dogs. If possible, please mention at the time of booking if you would like to keep your dog in the auditorium with you in order to help us suggest the best seats possible to accommodate both your needs during the performance.
Alternatively our Front of House team would be more than happy to look after your assistance dog for the duration of the performance.
We have a garden and water bowls available should you wish to use them.

- An infra-red sound enhancement system is available for use with or without a hearing aid. These can be collected from the Box Office on arrival at The Hexagon.
Access List
The Access List is a way for you to register your needs with us in order to make the booking process and the show experience as smooth as possible. Anyone can join the Access List and the information will be recorded on your customer record to assist with future bookings and to help meet your needs when attending our venues. In addition, you may be eligible for a free Personal Assistant ticket when attending events
