University of Reading 100 Years
Join the University of Reading and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for a musical celebration to reflect the rich tapestry of cultural life that makes Reading unique.
This performance includes the University Choir, Big Band and Orchestra alongside players from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra PLUS guest slots from Reading Gospel Choir & Limpopo Grove.
The second half will welcome local musicians alongside the orchestra in a WORLD PREMIERE of a work created from workshop sessions with RPO musicians and a professional composer.

Whatever your musical genre, style, passion, instrument, you're welcome to join us (for free!) Participation requires an immersive workshop day in the University Great Hall and then the performance at The Hexagon.
