SITELINES presents '900'
Written & performed by Benedict Sandiford
Sat 19 June, every 15 mins from 11am to 4pm
Performed as part of Abbey 900 at Water Fest.
1285.
The Townsfolk of Reading have much to thank the Franciscan brothers who have ministered to the sick of the town for nigh on 50 years.
Yet the brothers still live on the flooded marshes by Caversham Bridge, granted to them begrudgingly by Reading Abbey.
Until today.
South Street is proud to present this very special six-minute performance for one person at a time, as part of the celebrations for 900 years of Reading’s historic Abbey.
