Film Night - Springsteen: Deliver me from Nowhere

Come and join us on Friday 13 March for our next Film Night at the Hall. We’ll be dusting off the big screen for a showing “Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere”. 12A.  Our regular Film Nights have become a firm favourite with audiences. New surround sound speakers combined with the big screen, comfortable chairs, a cosy atmosphere, free parking, a reasonably priced bar and a very reasonable ticket price mean the Village Hall Cinema experience is not to missed!

From 20th Century Studios, this film chronicles the making of Bruce Springsteen’s 1982 “Nebraska” album when he was a young musician on the cusp of global superstardom, struggling to reconcile the pressures of success with the ghosts of his past. Recorded on a 4-track recorder in Springsteen’s New Jersey bedroom, the album marked a pivotal time in his life and is considered one of his most enduring works—a raw, haunted acoustic record populated by lost souls searching for a reason to believe.

Doors open 7pm. Film starts 7.30pm.
