5.5km Circular walk from Oaken Grove Vineyard, near Henley-on-Thames

A Walk Works firm favourite, back by popular demand! A varied and interesting circular route from Benhams Lane in Fawley, near Henley-on-Thames. The footpath takes us through the McAlpine Estate, famously Referred to by Country Life magazine as "the most bonkers estate in Britain".

Fawley Hill, 5.5km route with 2 hills. Starting at Oaken Grove Vineyard, this very special circular walk will show you some of the unique artefacts surrounding the country house and estate built by Sir William McApline in 1960. With 20 species of animal including 🦘wallabies, emus, peacocks, 6 types of deer, tapir, alpacas and llamas, to name a few, and a restored victorian railway station with working steam train. We will finish at the beautiful vineyard for coffee / wine in their delightful terraced area amongst the vines.🍇
