Book launch: The Many Faces Of Oxford Road, Reading

The University of Reading, in collaboration with Reading Borough Council and Baker Street Productions, are delighted to announce the publication of the book THE MANY FACES OF OXFORD ROAD, READING.
The research started in 2020 and helped form the basis for an exhibition at Reading Museum and, in 2022, the Oxford Road: Lifespring Stories.
The book launch will take place in the heart of Oxford Road - Lifespring Church at The Pavillion in Reading Town.
About the project
Lifespring Stories is part of Reading's High Streets Heritage Action Zone (HSHAZ) project, funded by Historic England in partnership with Reading Borough Council. It was commissioned by Reading Borough Council’s HSHAZ, working with researchers from the Human Geography Department at the University of Reading and Baker Street Productions Ltd,
The research project and book have been a joint production between The People of Oxford Road and Lifespring Church, Researchers from the Human Geography Department of the University of Reading – Dr Alice Mpofu-Coles and Robyn Woronka, Baker Street Productions – Caroline Bishop and Oli Hewson.
