Join the Triangle Players as they celebrate their 80th Anniversary - entertaining the local community since 1945! - with this sparkling comedy, set in the drawing room of Thrivington Hall, the home of Lady Boucher.

Her long-faithful butler Scribbins & newly employed maid, Lizzie Crawford reside with her. Lady Boucher is somewhat disappointed in Lizzie, as she turns out to be the complete opposite of her glowing references. 

A spate of jewellery thefts in the area prompts Lady Boucher to come up with a scheme to protect her own valuables. Her efforts appear to be thwarted, however, as Lizzie and the amorous Reverend Phillpots discover.

The plot thickens with an untimely murder, setting Inspector Warwick some puzzling problems to solve. The play concludes with several surprise twists.
