Vaultage: Neville Watson

Alex Darby & Mat Carter are delighted to be joined once again by good friend “Neville Watson“ for some heads down techno / house action!

Vaultage is an underground dance music night that is set down in the depths of the stunning Fire Fly Cellar Bar.

The venue is very unique with a very friendly atmosphere, amazing sound system, bespoke artworks which all adds to a melting pot of underground dance music and visual delights. 

Vaultage was conceptualised and run by Reading DJ’s Alex Darby and Mat Carter. Alex & Mat will of course provide resident dance floor sonic duties. 

The night was born from a shared love of underground dance culture and the infectious feeling from the speakers.

The Line-Up:

• Neville Watson is known for his sweaty beginnings at 90’s den of iniquity, “Checkpoint Charlie” learning his trade whilst warming up with Mat Carter at this legendary club to guest spots at Glasgow’s Sub Club, Berlin’s Berghain/Panorama Bar, Paris’s Rex Club to name a few. A world class performer with excellent technical ability and a great understanding of the dance-floor!
• Mat Carter needs little introduction. Resident at the legendary Checkpoint Charlie and guest appearances at venues such Fabric and recent local events, Blu Collar, Phuture & Pulse. He’s DJed globally where he’s performed alongside a host of underground artists effortlessly blending and exploring deep dubbed house, techno / electro, breaks and a multitude of genres.
• Alex Darby is a name many will know from DJing in Reading and surrounding areas, over the last 27 years. A versatile “proper” DJ mixing the vibes to suit each individual party. Alex was a regular in venues such as Mango, The Fez, Purple Turtle, Po Na Na and plenty more.
