Caversham to Goring Cruise
Cruising on the Thames at a gentle pace through some of its most stunning countryside, this relaxing journey is truly a treat. Departing from Caversham Pier, we head upstream through Mapledurham Lock and continue into the second reach toward Pangbourne. After passing under Whitchurch Toll Bridge and navigating Whitchurch Lock, the river widens before we sail beneath Gatehampton Bridge and arrive at Goring Lock.
Our onboard steward is on hand throughout the cruise, serving hot and cold drinks from the bar and assisting with any questions about the river. This is Thames travel the way it should be — calm, scenic, and in style.
Once ashore in Goring, you’ll have time for lunch and exploration before your relaxing return cruise downstream to Caversham. With beautiful views and tranquil river reaches, this is one of the most spectacular stretches of the Thames — the perfect day out.
