Katesgrove Walkabout

A guided walk by Terry’s Reading Walkabouts covering Katesgrove’s wonderful history, culture, heritage, industry and people as well as its wonderful Victorian Brickwork. Staggered terraced houses, lost printing works, the history of Reading bricks, the story of Trooper Potts VC, Waterloo Meadows alongside the Kennet the Hindu Temple and the Whitley Pump ending up at the Hook and Tackle for a drink and a natter.
