Paul is a Type 1 Diabetic, and has been for 28 years. Paul is also a DJ, and has been for about 5 months. Both are challenging skills, a sequence of spinning multiple disks at any one time. Paul is not perfect at either. With Dia-Beat-es he hopes to cross-fade between the two in this mega-mix of sweet sweet music dedicated to the carb counting druggies* like him. Join Paul as he drops beats on the past 27 years of his drug-filled life, mixing in the highs and lows of living as a full time diabetic... and part time DJ.

Audio Description and Captions will be available at all performances and will be delivered to audience members’ own mobile devices. Instructions for accessing this will be sent in advance of the shows and there will be a member of the company available to help people when they arrive.
Age guidance: 12+
Content warnings: some strong language, flashing lights, reference to needles and drugs
Running time: The live show is 60 mins and is followed by a 30 minute DJ set of sweet, sweet music for anyone who wants to keep on dancing.
