South Street presents an original SITELINES production. Written by Catherine Dyson

15 Jun 2023-18 Jun 2023

If you keep looking at the sky, eventually you’ll see something that you don’t understand.

One summer night in 1783, something extraordinary and unexplained was witnessed in the skies above Berkshire. It is said to be the world's first ever recorded sighting of a UFO.

In this humorous and heartfelt show, a 21st century tour guide leads us through his own eccentric re-imagining of this mythic event. Weaving a tale of faith, scientific curiosity and forbidden love, he invites past, present and future humans to follow the irresistible urge to look up and wonder what is out there.

This brand new SITELINES show is brought to you by the same South Street Arts team behind previous acclaimed shows 'The Final Whistle', 'In Ruins', 'Amelia', 'On Track' & 'Behind Closed Doors'. Written by Catherine Dyson (1 Beach Rd, Thunder Road & On Track), directed by Sabina Netherclift (Amelia, Behind Closed Doors, On Track) and making his SITELINES debut, performer Sanjay Lago (National Theatre of Scotland, Imaginate Fest).
