The Bar at the Edge of Time waits only for you, so what are you waiting for?
Leave the hours, minutes, and seconds behind, step across the threshold and meet the bar's maestro mixologists, crooners, and hosts. But a mystery lies at the heart of this place, a mystery hidden even from them. One that can only be solved when we spend our time together.
A multi-sensory spectacular for audiences with profound and multiple learning disabilities.

The Bar at the Edge of Time is designed for an audience of 6 persons with PMLD and their companion(s). When booking, please select a 'General Admission' ticket for each person in your party with PMLD, and a 'Companion' ticket for each person attending with them.

FAQs
Does the audience have to stay in the space?
No. If the audience becomes distressed, they may leave the space and enter again as many times as they like.
Does the audience have to sit still and be quiet?
No, the audience can move around and make noise. The Bar at the Edge of Time has been made with this in mind and the performers are all trained to be comfortable with this.
Are there any lighting or strobe effects?
No.
Accessibility Information
Venue Facilities
South Street has a Bar which will be open an hour before the start of the performance, serving hot and cold drinks including beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks. We also have crisps, nuts and ice creams available, but we do not have a kitchen so cannot serve full meals.
A quiet space will be available for use before, during and after the show.
We have a disabled access toilet with sanitary facilities. The nearest Changing Places toilet is in the Oracle Shopping Centre, about 10 minutes walk from South Street.
Venue Accessiblity
Access to the venue and both our theatre and studio spaces is step-free, with flat or ramped access. The front doors are powered for disabled access - please press the button to the left of the entrance.
The bar, theatre space and toilet facilities are all on the ground floor, with step-free access throughout.
Parking
South Street is only serviced by on street parking, which is free to blue badge holders. Although there are no designated spaces there is usually plentiful parking. The nearest public car parks are at The Oracle Shopping Centre, or Queens Road Car Park, both 5-10 minutes walk from the venue.
