And Then The Rodeo Burned Down by Xhloe & Natasha

part of a triple bill of Fringe First award winning Edinburgh previews

The rodeo is the best place in the world. Why would anybody burn it down? Unfortunately, rodeos don’t burn down on their own.

An absurdist subversion of the traditional Western this alleged tale of arson fractures into the story of two clowns desperately trying to afford to put on a show.

Dale and Dilly bicker, antagonise and flirt through synchronised physical theatre, dance and clowning, scored by a soundtrack from Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, and Elvis. Exploring masculinity, power, and the American Dream in the context of cowboy culture,

Will they be able to work together? Can they afford to find the end? And, most importantly, who burnt the rodeo down?
