Orchestra Day Workshop

Come and join the Saturday Morning Orchestra, conducted by Jerry Lanning, at our Orchestra Day workshop. It’s a fun, friendly event offering a wonderful opportunity to explore the set works over the day. We welcome extra players, especially upper strings and double bass players – please get in touch!

Music we are studying:

  • Bruch: Violin Concerto No.1 (soloist: Savannah Brown)
  • Beethoven: Symphony No.3 'Eroica'

Timetable

Arrive from 9am

9:30-11:00 & 11:30-13:00: Morning rehearsals, with coffee break

Lunchbreak: please bring a packed lunch

Quiz (optional, but great fun!)

14:00-15:00: afternoon rehearsals

15:30-16:30: final playthrough (finish approx 16:30) - friends welcome
