Band Experience Taster 2021
Want to join a band, write some original songs, perform at regular live events?
On Monday 13th September 2021 from 7-9pm, The Rock Academy will be running a FREE taster session for new Band Experience members.
As part of these exciting sessions, you will:
- Play with some new musicians
- Work with a professional band coach
- Learn how to create new musical ideas in collaboration with other musicians
We will provide all the equipment necessary for these sessions, just bring along your guitar/bass/drum sticks.
All staff hold up-to-date DBS certificates and both sessions will take place in a safe, inviting environment.
The Band Experience tasters will take place at:
Readipop Studios, 15 Trafford Rd, Reading RG1 8JP
If you enjoy the taster, you will be able to progress on to our on-going Band Experience programme which runs for three 10-week terms each academic year. Each band works with an experienced band coach for 2 hours a week to create new original music in preparation for termly gigs, recording sessions and other exciting performance opportunities.
