Greenpeace Fundraiser Gig with Queen of Between
The Rising Sun is host to a fundraiser gig for Greenpeace. Free entry but do please bring some donations for the buckets!
In return, we bring you an evening of Reading’s finest punk/ indie bands: Headlining – Queen of Between, plus The Adders and Made of the Mist
It'll also be a great chance to meet Greenpeace Berkshire, who will have their "Great Gas Rip Off Campaign", highlighting how the crazy UK electricity pricing system allows the Gas industry to set a very high price for electricity. With more renewable energy on the grid we could all have cheaper bills & reduce our dependence on gas imports.
So there it is an evening of wild rock music intermixed with deeply complicated technology & economics !
