Anatoliy Vyacheslavov

Hailing from Ukraine, after graduating in 1990 with a Diploma as a Performing Artist and Saxophone Tutor, he spent his national service in the Odesa Regional Military Orchestra.

In 2001, Tolly moved to the UK and soon came to the attention of many of the South’s jazz musicians who were impressed by his powerful sound, great technique and incredible spirit and passion with which he plays the saxophone. During this time he performed, recorded and toured with many artists including Cat Stevens, Suzi Quatro, Nick Heyward (Haircut 100) and the legendary Geno Washington.

Al Swainger

Composer, producer, digital artist and freelance electric and double bass player. Al’s reputation as a sideman and bassist for hire is formidable.

Well-known as someone able to slip easily into any context and sound like he’s been doing it all his life at a moment’s notice, he has been awarded 5th place in the British Jazz Awards three times from 2012-14. Currently, he holds positions as part of Digby Fairweather’s Half Dozen, Michele Drees Jazz Tap Project, WhailTale (as bassist and musical director) and the Blue Gardenia Jazz Band.

As a studio musician, some highlights include several album recordings for Grice as well as with Siobhan McCrudden, Gary Bamford, Annika Skoogh, Dominic Ashworth & Craig Milverton.
