Hidden Heritage of Thames Water
Heritage Open Days 2022
Join us to find out more about Thames Water's historic sites as well as our plans for the redevelopment of Fobney Turbine House near Reading.
Thames Water has a fascinating history with many stories behind our infrastructure, lots of which is still in use today. Join our resident Archaeologist, Victoria Reeve and Claudia Innes who looks after lots of our community projects to learn more about their trips into our archives and some of the interesting things found when visiting our sites.
We have also been exploring options for the re-building and restoring of the derelict Fobney Turbine House and we hope to use this event as an opportunity to share our ideas for the project as well as a bit more about its history.
It is possible for up-to 50 people to join us in-person but there will be a Teams link available for anyone wanting to join virtually - links available from 9 September, check the HOD website to connect
This event has already taken place.
