World Sickle Cell Awareness Day

Join us Cianna’s Smile as we partner with The Oracle Reading to come together to honour World Sickle Cell Awareness Day with a very special event on 19th of June in the management suite at The Oracle, Reading.
We’ll be hosting a networking event with local groups/communities and screening of our short film, 'Life In Your Blood', which shares the powerful stories and lived experiences of young children and their families impacted by Sickle Cell.
Event Highlights:
- 1:30pm: Guests arrive at The Oracle management suite (located on the first floor) snacks and refreshments provided.
- 1:50pm: Short Film Screening of "Life in Your Blood" an informative and emotional film that brings the reality of living with sickle cell to life.
- 2:15pm - 2:30pm: Q&A session to find out the work our charity has done in our community and your chance to network with other groups.
- 2:15pm - 2:30pm: Interactive Exhibition – Learn more about blood donation and speak directly with our team and volunteers.

From 2:00pm join our team for our annual Sit-Ups for Sickle Cell Challenge (Outside Rituals/Next stores in the Oracle, Reading.)–
Help us reach our community goal of 17,000 sit-ups to raise awareness for those living with sickle cell.
